Newsletter Term 3 2026
Newsletter Term III
(November 2026 – January 2027)
Dear Parents,
Warm greetings from White Lilies International Preschool!
We hope you and your families had a wonderful Dashain holiday filled with happiness, love, and blessings.
We are delighted to have successfully completed our Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM). It was a pleasure meeting with you individually and discussing each child’s progress, development, and learning journey. We sincerely appreciate the continued trust, cooperation, and support of our wonderful parent community. Your partnership plays an invaluable role in making your child’s learning experience meaningful and fulfilling.
As we welcome the colder months, we kindly request you to send a pair of warm indoor slippers for your child to keep at school. This will help keep the children comfortable throughout the winter. Please ensure that your child’s name is clearly written on the slippers to avoid any mix-ups.
Sports Day practice will begin after Tihar, with regular morning sessions. Kindly ensure that your child comes to school wearing comfortable clothing and appropriate sports shoes to participate safely and comfortably.
Our tentative date for Sports Day is Saturday, 19th December 2026 at Imperial World School, Hattigauda. We will inform you in advance if there are any changes to the schedule or venue.
Children will also require their school T-shirt for the event. If you have not purchased one yet, please let us know so that we can arrange it for you.
We are pleased to inform you that our Winter Camp is scheduled for 4th to 8th January 2027. We especially encourage our UKG students to participate, as this will be their final Winter Camp at White Lilies before moving on to the next stage of their educational journey. We would love for them to create more wonderful memories with their friends and teachers. LKG and Nursery students are also welcome to participate. Please note that the Winter Camp is not open to Playgroup students.
Our medical camp for this term will take place on Friday, 6th November 2026. A team of nurses and an ophthalmologist (eye specialist) will be visiting the school to conduct health and eye check-ups.
If you have any specific health concerns or questions that you would like the medical team to address, please inform us in advance so that we can communicate them accordingly.
For all new students, please ensure that the KYC form is completed and submitted before the medical camp. If you have not yet received the form, kindly contact the school office, and we will be happy to provide you with a copy.
Important Notice: Adjustment to the Academic Calendar
As you may recall, we had to push back our session at the beginning of the academic year due to fuel shortages and government directives concerning admissions and examination results.
To compensate for the lost instructional days and ensure that we continue to meet our planned academic requirements, the school will remain open during the last week of the scheduled winter holidays, from Monday, 18th January, to Friday, 22nd January 2027.
Regular classes will resume according to the schedule outlined in the school calendar thereafter. We kindly request parents to take note of this adjustment and make the necessary arrangements.
Thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and continued cooperation.
As we begin another term, we look forward to many more opportunities for learning, growth, exploration, and joyful experiences together. With your continued support, we hope to make this term a happy, healthy, and productive one for every child.
Thank you for your cooperation,
White Lilies Int"l Preschool
