Term I – (May – July 2022)

Dear Parents,

Wishing you all a very happy new year 2079 and would like to welcome you all to the beginning of a new academic year. We hope this year will be a regular one and that the kids can enjoy school as normally as possible.
Last year and the year before was a challenging one for all of us. However, we have been able to overcome all that and can now look forward to a better future.
We are very glad to announce that we will be resuming our music class (pianica) from May 2022 onwards for UKG and LKG. Music classes are compulsory for LKG and UKG. Parents of classes Nursery and PG can also opt for music lessons for their children if they wish to begin early. A sum of Rupees 1200/-per month will be charged for two music lessons every week.
Since we are still not completely Corona free we would like to suggest the parents to get a personal pianica instrument for your child as it is a blow organ. Parents can also consider using school’s piancias if they are comfortable as we do give each student their own personal pipes. Parents who are sending pianicas can opt to keep the instrument in school or have the children carry it from home whenever they have classes.
We will have pianica classes every Monday and Thursday from May 2022.
As we had mentioned earlier in our previous newsletter there will be an increase in the fee structure from this term onwards according to the rate of inflation as the fee has not been revised from the last three years.
We have tried to keep the increase to the minimum. The increases are as such:

Tuition fee by 500/- monthly
Food by 800/- monthly
Transportation by 400/- monthly
Stationary: 500/-monthly
Miscellaneous: 300/- month

*Food and transportation fee will be subjected to change in accordance with the rate of inflation.
Parents are to pay the monthly tuition fee only if we have to switch to online classes in the future.

As the days are getting hotter we will be starting our much loved swimming classes every Friday from June 2022.

Parents are requested to send to school
1. swimming costume
2. towel
3. sun protection lotion
4. slippers
5. waterproof bags to put in the wet items

The name of the student has to be written on each of the item mentioned above before sending it to school. Swimming classes will be held every Friday inside the school premises in a blow up pool under adult supervision.

Parents are also requested to send an insect repellent that suits their child in their school bag throughout the warm seasons.

We would like to request the parents not to send any toys to school with their child. Such items may cause unnecessary situations in school amongst the children.

New parents are requested to ask for the new academic year’s calendar if they have not received one yet.
